ABOUT US
Balding Bandits is an Iracing league started by a small group of friends to have some fun on the virtual track. This group has all sorts of backgrounds in real world and sim racing, from real world short track racers, dirt track Kart racers, road racers, and some members that have never driven anything faster than a laptop. We are focused mostly on stock cars running ovals, but we like to run dirt tracks and road races on occasion. The championship decider last night was a good battle, I will hopefully have a video posted later with the highlights. I was practicing my YouTube recording and I still have a few bugs to work out.
Tony Ayers (#21) started on pole and traded the led with Chase (#50) early. Tristan (#9) was right on thier tail the entrie race as they fought for the lead. It was close hard racing the entrie way, which looked like alot of fun.
Tyler Michael Holbrook won the Monday night championship, Tony Ayers was second just 1 point behind. Aaron Pendleton rounded out the top three, only 7 points back.
The Monday night series is a fun mix of disciplines and I think next season will be even better as we figure out the full format. The plan was to switch the road racing events to a faster road car, but I think we have decided that the legends cars are just too much fun on the road courses to change it up, so we will continue to run the legends at least one more season. The season's schedule should be fully updated now.
